After testing a number of different materials, I settled on 300 micron Polypropylene (PP) as the best fit for this prototype. This is because it has:
- Low density – it has a low mass per unit volume, making it ideal for portability
- High strength – it has excellent mechanical strength and the ability to resist impacts
- Low cost – this makes it ideal for frequent use and production

Here is my final model for this specific crease pattern, made with a 300micron A3 sheet of Polypropylene.
